i kinda cheated extra this year by adding cat's miaow cos it's just a new comp of old music hehe
and i thought i could get away with adding hydroplane as a "new release" since this is the first time it's been released on vinyl but after debating my coworkers decided it was a reissue fml
however the coolest discovery for me this year was travesía's ni un minuto mas de dolor reissue..
saved from the lost and mostly unknown 80s leftfield pop scene, travesía is three chicks from uruguay doing some cool avant garde folk, killer harmonies and interesting guitar work, and not to mention the only album they made !!!
heard this one at work towards the beginning of the year ( most likely a dan rec but honestly i can't remember for sure ) and not much else beat it for me by the end. highly recommend checking out !!
